Who can play?
U06 soccer is for any child who has turned 5 years old by July 31st. Children turning 5 years old in August who are also attending kindergarten this fall are eligible to join, too.

How often do the U06 players teams meet?
The U06 teams play at the same time on Saturdays mornings. Each team is provided a schedule.

Where do the U06 teams play?
The U06 teams play at the Daniel Webster School fields on Ocean Street.

How much does it cost?
The U06 soccer program costs $60.00 for the year. The year includes 2 sessions… one in the fall and another in the spring.

How do I register my child?
Registering is easy. Click on the Registration link on the left of this page and follow the instructions. You can also obtain a form at the Ventress Memorial Library in Library Plaza. Registration for the year usually starts in June and ends in July. Based on availability late registrations are accepted.

What should my child wear to play?
Prepare your player by having them wear weather appropriate attire. Shin guards are required. To protect other players, please have them worn under a pair of soccer/other socks. Sneakers or cleats should also be worn. MYSA will supply a team jersey.

What else should we bring?
Don’t forget a soccer ball / size 3. You should also make sure your player has something to drink.

When does the season start?
The season starts on Saturday, September 15th. Each player should hear from his or her coach specifically what time they will play.

What is the format of play?
For each one hour session, the coach usually spends about 30 minutes on exercises and drills and the remaining time is in a scrimmage. The scrimmages are typically 4v4 with substitutions.
